Availability Check

Hi ,

when ever i creat a sales order it chould check the availability and block the stock immediately for this order. can any one lem me know the settings.

Dear Stella chen

Go to OVZ9, select your Availability check and Checking Rule and click on blue lens on top. There tick the field "Include sales reqmts". By doing so, whenever you create sale order and if stock is available, it will be blocked to that sale order.

Go to material master MRP3 view and see what value is maintained for "Availability check". As I said before, now go to OVZ9, select that availability check (normally this would be 01 or 02) with checking rule A and click on blue lens on top left. The system will take you to a screen where you can see various boxes to select under the tab "In/outward movements". In that box, select "Include sales reqmts". By selecting this, whenever you create sale order and if stock is available, that available quantity will be blocked against that sale order.
