Hi

i created standerd text in SO10 IN DEV for smartform.

whenever i tested it .It is working fine in DEV.

i moved this from from DEV to QAS.

NOW form is throwing error in QAS.

Will you please send information to move text from DEV to QAS.

How to move Standerd text from DEV TO QAS.

Hi,

you have to download te standard text from DEV using program RSTXSCRP to your desktop.

And then in QAS run the program and import the Same from Desktop.

Revert back in case u need further clarification.

Hi,

U can also copy the text from DEV to Quality client. Use this step So10 -> Utilities - Copy from Client.

Hi - You can create a transport request for tht text using program "rstxtrans". just execute the program and give the details like text id and language..

Then once u execute it will create a request and tht can be moved to ur QAS and production server also.

Hi,

You can copy the same standard text from the source client to target client in the target environment.

Suppose if you want to copy the text from DEV to QAS. Go to QAS system-> so10-> Utilities-> copy from client.

Give the source client, source text name, and target text name.

And you have to check the 'No Error when text does not exists' checkbox. in the Include Text of text element.

u create the same text in QAS in so10....and give condition no error if no text exists...
