Hi experts,
In sm21 im vahinv a lot of users with this error: "SAP Comunication Errors CPIC 20 SAP=472".
Searchin i found that this error is relate to :
CM_PRODUCT_SPECIFIC_ERROR 20 and
C_NO_SIDE_INFO_ENTRY 472 No side info entry
Could any one explaim me what is C_NO_SIDE_INFO_ENTRY and how to solve this errors and their maassive disconections?
Thank in advance
Daniel.
Hi Daniel,
the error C_NO_SIDE_INFO_ENTRY shows, that you are trying to use external RFC-Communication. This can be controlled by the sideinfo file in order to limit that ...
Information on this file can be obtained at e.g.:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_40b/helpdata/en/c6/892bca449311d1893e0000e8323c4f/content.htm
The name and location of this file is controlled by gw/side_info - the default is typically:
/usr/sap/sid/DVEBMGSnn/data/sideinfo
If this file does NOT exist, there is no check at all !
=> Everything is allowed.
If this file exists empty (a trick for a homo copy of PRD in order to prevent external RFCs), nothing is allowed - this might be your issue. Then you should delete this file.
If you want to use that, you have to add more entries as described in the docu above.
