Imp: While creating sales order SD currency (VBAK-waerk) is empty (initial)

Hi,

I try to pass on a xml through XI into an ERP system and try to create a Sales Order.

But then i find that the SD currency WAERK is initial or empty.

So i get the error V1 449 . "Exchange rate of <> in USD could not be determined for 05052008"

You can see in the error message that the SD currency is appearing as nothing.

Can you please let me know what are the possible configurations that i need to check for?

Hi,

1. Check whether the currency is maintained in the country of your sales org in the following path

SPRO-GENERAL SETTINGS-SET COUNTRIES---DEFINE COUNTRIES

This is only optional in most cases

2. Check if the currency is filled in the company code definition. This should have been done.

3. Also check if the currency is maintained in the customer master data of the Sold to party in the sales area view (in sales tab)

The currency should be maintained in 2 or 3. If so, this problem will not happen.

Thanks for the response.

Ob08 - to set the exchange rate, But then the prob here is that it is not able to find out the

SD currency while trying to create the Sales Order. Only after that this would matter.
