R/3 Release 4.6C (SICF doesn't work)

When I apply tr: SICF in R/3 Release 4.6C I got messages: Transcation does not exist

Why is that like how may i trun on ICF services for mail

Hello!

The SAP release 4.6C does not have the ICM, which is the basis for everything you

configure in SICF, that's why the transaction does not exist.

Configuring mailing should be possible somewhere around the transaction SCOT and

requires components outside the SAP System itself as far as I know, I am not an expert

of the details though.

Thanks a lot, and good to know that 4.6C has no more SICF or ICM services, anway!!! I have couple of more question i belive its pretty easy for you

1. In system NW 4.6C should I have to configure SMTP for configure CCMS alerts ?

2. In auto-re-action method, do I have to login client 000, even I have admin rights SAP_ALL

3. funcation: SALO_EMAIL_IN_CASE_OF_ALERT does not found in Rz20 --> SAP_CCMS_

4. for configure CCMS do I have to add paramaters in profile

icm/plugin_0 = port=http, plg=/usr/sap/SID/exe/httpplugin.so

icm/plugin_1 = port=https, plg=/usr/sap/SID/exe/httpsplugin.so

icm/plugin_2 = port=smtp, plg=/usr/sap/SID/exe/smtpplugin.so

if yes, then these files are not located in unix directory structure, where may i download

these files?

Hi!

4.6C is not a Netweaver Release, but much older. So it's not a 'no more', but a 'not yet' for these

services like ICM. The parameters you mention are icm Parameters, so they will most likely not

exist as well.

For the CCMS-Configuration I don't know the details of how to make it work. You will have to

consult documentation for the fitting release.
