Hello everyone, I have spent some time trying to get this to work. We downloaded a trail certificate from SAP and installed it on our machine and I created a webservice that works great. I tested the HTTPS without client authentification and it works great, as soon as I change it to use with Client Authentification I can't get it to go through. I am using Soap Sonar to test the certificates. To get the certificate I called the url with firefox then saved the certificate in my trust store, from there I import it to soap sonar as a signed certificate, but I am getting the error <Exception>Object contains only the public half of a key pair. A private key must also be provided.</Exception> I assume I am doing something way wrong, is there a way to get the certificate with both public and private key pair, or a way to test this that I can't seem to find in documentation or blogs?
I def award points
Cheers

I guess to make my question easier has we have ssl working because I can call the webservice when I make the soap sender adapter https but without client auth, but I can't seem to make this work as soon as I make it client auth, does anyone have any idea what steps it should take to complete it for client auth, can I export the client certificate and import it into a tool I can use to test, I am kinda lost in this security piece and much help would be greatly appreciated

Yes I have seen these before but it all comes down is how do I get the correct certificate to load into my soap tool, as it seems the certificate is incorrect, everything seems correct in the Visual Admin, i.e. Trusted CA etc, does anyone have a blog or ideas of how to get the client certificate to load into the calling service so it will be authenticated and allowed to execute the desired function?
