one order two deliveries

hi all ,

how to create 2 deliveries for one order . cn u pl let me know the copy control customizations if any ?And the possible combinations of order , delivery & invoice .

if there are 2 line items in a sales order,

for one material the delivery date is 10th and for the other the delivery date is 11th

then a delivery split occurs automatically when you save the document because of the changing delivery dates

it can also be like there is only one material in the sales order of which only partial quantity is confirmed

in this case also we can create 2 deliveries with reference to your sales doc...

hi dear

plz set partial delivery indicator for the customer in the customer matser

eg:

create order in va01 for item 10 and in qty 20,save the order

now in vl01n create delivery for the order num generated , now change the order qty to 10 instead of 20 and press PGI

then in the same t code vl01n give same order number u can the balance 10 qty appears

dear jerry,

if i would understand your requirment that you want to create only 2 deliveries from one order and not more than 2,

then you need to define in customer master ( XD01 ) - sales area data -- Shipping -- Max. partial deliveries -- here you difine 2 system will create max. 2 deliveries only.

Otherwise , you can create as manay as partial deliveries.

Just try.

Scenarios:

1.When you want to deliver first line item and hold others.

2.When partial delivery is allowed and you want to ship what is there in stock

3.When Ship to Party is different for different line items,

4. When Plant is different for different materials or line items,

5. When Shipping Point is different for different materials or line items,

6. When Delivery Date is different for line items,

7. When Unloading Points are different for Same Partner & material or line Item,

8.When shipping conditions are different.

Hi,

This will come into Delivery Split, which means Order will be one & delivery will be one or more. This occurs in the following Conditions:.

1. When Ship to Party is different for different line items,

2. When Plant is different for different materials or line items,

3. When Shipping Point is different for different materials or line items,

4. When Delivery Date is different for different materials or line items,

5. When Unloading Points are different for Same Partner & material or line Item,

Hi,

Yu can create two deliveries for one order if the following conditions are met..

Let say for example that the order contains 6 items

and for the first 3 items the ship id is different from the rest 3 items then the delivery will be created twice

and if the Delivery date of the items is different then also we can create two deliveries

and if the Inco terms are different then also we can create two deliveries

when the schedule lines of the rindividual line items are different then also we an created two deliveres

Paritial delivery in Sales order can be handled by indicator in Customer master or customer material info or at sales order item level.

If delivery dates in schedule lines are different for both the line items in the single sales order then two deliveries will take place .
