SLD COnfiguration Problem

Hi All,

I have installed C.E 7.1 SR3. When i am running the configuration wizard i am getting an error on SLD (sap.com/tc_sldctc_ear component is not found). I have skip the error message.

when i am logging in to the http:<hostname>:<portno>/sld

Its showing that SLD is not installed on this J2ee server

The HTTP destinations are defined,

SLD Check is running fine.

I have got 2 errors when i checked the logs.

1 . Unexpected exception catched and will be rethrown:

com.sap.sld.api.wbem.exception.CIMException: CIM_ERR_FAILED: SLD domain can not be accessed: Object server name not configured

2. Unexpected exception catched and will be rethrown:

com.sap.security.api.NoSuchRoleException: Role with uniqueName CTC_DEVELOPER not found!

In configuration management/infrastructure/SLD data supplier configuration ---> Collect and send data is sucessfully done.

In home page of SLD i couldnt able to see the techinical systems tab, bussiness system tabs etc.....

I resolved the problem with tc_sldctc_ear:

1) Download the component SLD: Search for Support Packages and Patches -> search SLD -> download LM SLD 7.10

2) JSPM -> go.bat -> New Software component

3) chose the SLD Component

Hello Mahesh

Which configuration wizard are you running? Is it the configuration of ESR?

You are right - CE is not pre-delivered with the SLD. However, ESR is pre-delivered with SLD as of 7.1. So, once you install ESR on CE, you will have a configuration wizard that will help you configure SLD on the CE server.

CE 7.1 is delivered without a SLD by design of the product.
