Hi Suman,

You are doing File->IDOC scenario.

If IDOC is not posted at R/3, then first you need to check at XI whether it has successfully sent from XI or not. You can do this with SXMB_MONI. Once XI sent successfully, then R/3 has to get it.

If IDOC posted at R/3 with errors, it is the problem at R/3 side. You can check it with WE05. Or you can have a look at SM58 for TRFC Queue.

Hi Bhanu,

As i Explained before:::

1) File has been successfully reached to Sap R/3 when i check in we05

2) When i saw in We05, i have the Status like Application document not posted.

I know that the error is there at R/3 side, but how to find out which error is it.

What to do and how to find out where the error is at SAP R/3 side????

i think i explained in a good maner

Double click on the idoc number to go to the next screen.

Open the node for Status.

You can find the actual reason for failure there.

The application document may not get posted for a variety of reasons.

It may be a case of invalid/bad data in the idoc.

Hi Suman,

I've gone through the image.

The error is: IDOC not fully processed

As Ravi Kanth said in the previous replies, the application document not posted for a variety of reasons. Here the reason it is showing is: "IDOC not fully processed".

As per my knowledge, this should be re-triggered using WE19 or request your functional people to re-trigger the IDOC. The choice depends on your business functionality.

Heyyyyyy Bhanu,

As per my knowledge, this should be re-triggered using WE19 or request your functional people to re-trigger the IDOC. The choice depends on your business functionality.

My Scenario is File--IDOC

Do i need to Trigger the IDOC from WE19????

Are you using like this only????

The error which is facing is at Receiver side, not sender side

Hi Suman

Your IDOC status is 51

51 Error: Application document not posted

According to XI ,IDOC has successfully posted to SAP R/3 system. There is some problem with the data which you have sent to SAP.Check with your Functional Team for correct data.

Please see the thread

It provides the solution. There is problem with your data

It's a mistake from my end.

Hi Suman,

Follow below in receiving system:

1. Go to we19, use the reference IDoc, Click "Inbound Function Module".

2. Specify Input function module by which the data is to be processed.

3. Also select Call transaction processing as "Foreground" and check for "Call in debugging mode".

4. Find the problem where it is in debugging mode.

Other way:

1. Expand status record of the IDoc in WE05.

2. Double click the notepad icon before the status record which has run into error.

3. Read the problem and diagnose.

Let me know if you require more information.

Best Regards,

Suraj Kumar.

Hi Suman,

Check the exact Inbound IDOC status:

If it is "56", then IDOC might have entered R/3, but not posted. ABAPer can resolve this.
