BOM component from Contract to Order

Hello,

I am trying to send the component(s) of a BOM from the contract ZC to the subsequent sales order ZO.

Higher-level item has item category ZTAB

Sub-items have item category ZT

With the copy rules, I am blocking the higher-level material (ZTAB blocked)

But I allow the sub-item(s) to go to the subsequent sales order (ZT copied).

However it doesn't work and I always have this error message :

tem 000011 is a component of a bill of material so cannot be copied

Can you please tell why are you trying to block the higher level item.

Becasue this item category is processed with another flow (actually a purchase flow).

Thus we don't want to see it somewhere else than in the contract.

I know it is strange but actually this flow represent a subcontracting where we are the subcontractor. We receive some stuff (ZTAB item) and we re-deliver others (ZT).
