I have and webdynpro Java applicaion running in Enterprise portal.
Is there a way to achieve screen/browser referesh?

You can use the resetView() method of IWDView. Please check the documentation before using it. But i dont think you will be able to do browser refresh.

It didn't worked for my requirment
From webdynpro you can use timmedTrigger UI element and refresh your screen.
Use the property delay
Bind an action to the timmed trigger.
