Error in migrating data -LSMW

Dear gurus,

Welcome back from the weekend hols. Please I am migrating customer master data using LSMW-Batch input method, I have gone through the steps but to convert the data, a syntax error occured: "Type 'C' a maximum length specification of 65535 allowed".

I have gone through the wiki but no solution, Kindly help me.

Hello,

I have tried the solution given but it did not solve it. The issue is that i have gone through Specify Files, Assign Files, Read data and Display Read Data without any issues. But when it got to Convert Data, It brought the error mentioned above.

Please help.

make sure the file ur using is not open.

Dear Maureen

go to Specify Files and double click on "Converted Data" so that the file name will now be in editable mode. Compress the name of the file and retry. Due to this long file name only, you are unable to proceed.

Also appreciate your efforts in searching the forum b4 posting your question.
