changing form https to http IE7

Hi,

we have a problem with internet explorer 7. When have integrated the intranet-site of our company in the nw portal. It works fine. But:

We have one site with an external link to the internet. If we call the link, an new window opens and the internet site is shown. If we close the window and call another iwiew over the portal we get an error: site cannot be shown ... (German: Die Webseite kann nicht angezeigt werden)

I think its a problem with changing from intranet to internet zone. With internet explorer 6 we don´t get this error.

Has anyone an idea?

Our System:

Server OS: Windows 2003 Standard x64 Edition Service Pack 2 (AMD)

ADS LDAP: Windows 2003

SAP Version: NetWeaver 7.0 SP13

JDK: j2sdk1.4.2_16-x64

If you use a proxy to access internet, maybe you need to configure in IE7 the exceptions to the proxy. Just copy the same urls from your IE6.

We don´t use a proxy. The problem is: we reach all URLs in our portal (http or https). But if we once opened an external link in a new window and go back to origin portal window and call a portal url we get the error "site can not be shown ... "

Then could be a dns problem. Review your host file and check the way you call that url (absolute or not).
