Hello Gurus,
where can I assign the reverse movement type in SD ?
thanks very much!
Dear bo zhang
Normally, from SD point of view, some movement types are based on your schedule line category and some are pre configured by SAP itself. For example, for normal 601 movement type, your schedule line category would be CP and for returns, it would be 655 and schedule line category is DN. But for 602 movement type, there is no standard schedule line category. It is already preconfigured and when you run VL09, system will automatically reverse the goods issue to Unrestricted location.
thanks

Hi,
the movement types are handled by MM and are part of inventory management section in the IMG menu. As SD guys we only make use of movement types available in the standard and incase of any new requirements we have them created by MM guys. The only place we assign movment types in SD is to schedule line categories at VOV6. But its again standard setting and even for complimentary movement types like reverse movment type which you have asked they are already set at OMJJ transaction. (IMG > MM > Purchasing > Inventory Mgt > Movment Types).

Hi,
There is not configuration settings in SD and entire movement type control is from MM, please go through TC -OMJJ in that check the last option as Reversal. From SD can only determine the Movement type.
