post GI problem

Hello,

When post GI,an error message shows:"Posting only possible in periods 2008/04 and 2008/03 in company code 1000".

Coud you please let me know how to resolve this problem?

Hi ling zhang

The opening and closing periods are to be done every month and it is the duty of the MM consultants

Just go to MMPV and enter your company code , month and the year and then execute and then come back

Then check in MMPV to know in which period your company code is

Then create delivery with VL01N again

your problem will be solved

Check the posting periods of the comp code :1000 in OMSY

then Tcode:MMPV

enter comp code:1000

enter the period & year.

now check and confirm

Hello,

The posting periods for Material Management needs to be opened for each month. As you now it is in May, so the posting period 05 needs to be opened.

Go to transacton MMPV, give your company code , enter the period as 05 and year as 2008, execute (F8). the system will give a message.

Try posting the GI now.
