How to genereate the Mesage Oriented Alerts

Hi,

I did all the configurations regarding ALERTS.. and finally I'm getting the Alerts in the AlertInbox.. but I want to give the description for each ALert... at present I'm getting only one description which i was provided in the ALRTCATDEF . that one displaying in my Alert Inbox for all the Errored Messages..

But I want to Genarate separate Alrets for Mapping Exception .. leke that.. Each type I want to generate alert..with it's own description...

Hi,

While creating the Alerts in ALRTCATDEF Tcode, there is one Tab called Short & Long Text.

I think you may play with that

Hi,

In PI/XI there are two kinds of alerts:-

1) Static Alerts - can be achieved without BPM

2) Dynamic Alerts - Achieved only using BPM

For static alerts configuration and getting a meaningful error text in Alert Inbox just check the below URL :-
