upgrade kernel patch.
check Note 760175 - 6.20: Logon not possible (after DB export or system copy) as reference

we are upgarding from 4.6c to ECC6.0.
we are at phase startsap_dual. server is starting but we tried to login with DDIC giving error DB-ERROR -0,
ERROR IN SAPUP is startsap errorcode -2 we read in help it ask to login with ddic.
we have present kernel 117, we included basis 14 th patch during upgrade, please provide us solution.

Hi Ajai,
try to logon with SAP* and the correct password and then with the password PASS or with pass.
I would be interested in the results. I'm pretty sure, that you do have such a mismatch in USR02 as described in the other note even when for 6.20.
btw: is 117 supported with SP14 ? (or was it 15 where you NEED 133 or so at least?)

I can only support Kaushal !
NW SP14 requires kernel 133 at least - because of other issues, you typcially have to use 146 with latest R3trans etc.
I don't know, if this is the solution, at least your upgrade is not supported right now.

what problem do you have ?
Do you see this "DB-Error -0" ?
The you should look at note 1152171 => you need at least kernel patch 133 for your support pack level.
If you do have problems with patching, we could provide you a complete kernel.
