Check Note 529655 - SAPCAR error: can't change date; value too large

or try download the latest sapcar and execute.

syntax is :

sapcar -xvf <filename>.SAR

Hi,

Make sure the file name including the location is not more than 16 char. like c:\..........xxx.sar

I am running

sapcar -xvf "*.car"

and I get an error at the archive "K-60010INERECRUIT.CAR"

strange enough, when I sapcar individual files it works, when I sapcar -xvf "*.car" it does not work....

Try update the SAPCAR file and let me know.

this error occurs actually with the latest version of sapcar for windows x64.

The solution to this issue to use the 701 x64 version of SAPCAR. Even with the latest version of 700 x64 SAPCAR the issue still occurs.

It seems that SAP has only fixed the issue in the 701 version.
