changing sales unit of measure

Hi All,

I want to change the sales unit of measure(su) from lbs to carton or skid in material master to get as default in the sales order line and inquiry line while preparing the order.

pllease advise.

Hi kishore

We have base unit of measure and sales unit of measure in MMR. what ever we enter in sales unit feild that triggers automatically in the sales order. But if you want other unit of measure then go to

MMR -> basic data 1 -> additional data - >there you can give your own conversion factors

But these wont trigger directly in sales order . once you create sales order in the UoM feild press F4 and you can find the required conversion factors, accordingly you can enter .in the sales order manually
