how to copy smartforms fom prodction to dev in 4.6c version

How can i copy Smartforms from production to Dev in 4.6C version (i didn't find any upload and download options )

Hi,

smartforms are development objects. If you need it on another system just put it into a transport request and import it on the system you need.

Depending on your transport configuration you might need some help from a basis guy but it's usually no big deal.

If anyone was able to create the sf on the production server and now you want to integrate it into the correct development / transportation scenarion you might have to change the origin system to allow propper transporting. This is done in the object catalog entry, in SE03 or some other tools. Your basis guy or the responsible person for software logistics will bele to help you here, too.

Hi,

Smartforms are client independent and they will be available in all the clients. You neednt upload or download from the prod client to dev client.

In case they are on different servers you can do the same in the smartforms itself.

Tcode: Smartforms - Enter name of desired SF - menu - utilities - download form

You can upload the same in the required client using the same path.
