Bolling and posting

Hello,

Can any one imagine the below problem?

Delivery and billing was made on 29 th Apr and in the accounting document it says May 1 st (posting).

Can any one imagine what could have been the problem??

Hi Dinesh,

The Issue is the concerned billing documents are released for accounting on 1st of May

Even though if there are 1000 documents it is possible.

Because normally generally billing documents are generated through batch jobs. so, based on client requirement thebatch jobs are run on a reguler intervels. and it might create 1000 billing documents on 30th april. But due to some information problem accounting documents are not generated.

So, these billing documents might be released for accounting on 1st may.

I think this could be the reason.

hi pravenn, what u have told me is 100% true....

how can i find because of which information problem we have them delivered on 1 st isted of 30 th Apr..

Can u guess possible reasons?

Dinesh,

As praveen explained, the batch jobs will be set to execute at regular intervals. But due to some unexpected reasons, they will reschedule it.

You can check in SM37 with date whether the particular batch job has executed on the date or not.

May be it was released to accounting manually on 1st.

Pl check the setting if the release to accounting is automatic or posting block is configured.
