hello, friend.

in what format was the customer master given? because if it is in excel format, you could check on duplication of entries prior to upload or conversion to tabs delimited. this would be better than having a routine checking for duplicates when uploading.

regards.

Dear All ,

Thanks for you input.

I have consulted my senior ABAP er it is possible to run the BDC and check the same in forground for KNA1 Name1 and then procede if customer not created.

Amlan

Dear Friend,

I want to avoid duplication of Customer Master Records....

So if a customer is created in the system it should not be allowed to be created...

If you have any standard routine please revert back.

hi alman ,

i think this is difficult to achive, because there are so many fields in a customer master and if any on field changes the whole record gets changed right.
