Dear All,

In QM module, QS21 - create Master insp char by defualt

Complete copy model comes. I'm not able to select other

options like Incomplete copy model, Ref char etc., It's greyed out. Is there any config setting for this? How to select Incomplete copy model.

If you are using class charecristics for creating the MIC, then it will be gradeout...just check and come back

Dear Mittal,

While creating MIC i'm not using class characteristic field

only first 3 fields are entered viz.,

1.Plant

2. MIC code

3. Valid from then goes to next screen.

There complete copy model comes by default.It's greyed out.

Not able to change. Pls suggest what do u mean by Class char

Its the link between MIC and Batch Classification .Once you have entered a Class characteristic in MIC(change mode) ,the inspection results will be trasferred to batch classification.

Pre-req->MIC not used in Materials spec and that Class characteristics must be contained in batch class of the material.

I'm not sure on why your getting complete copy model ,If Class charac was maintained then u should have got reference copy model.
