Period Splitting

1. I have the demand in the DP at the Period Level ( Fiscal Period)

2. Now i am releasing the demand to the PPDS.

3. When i see the demand in the Product view it has split to day wise demand.

I could not identify why it is split like the same or can u explain the behaviour of it.

In R3 we have the automatic period splitting- i couldnt find any related setting ..needs some expertise help.

Can you highlight what is the transaction you are using to release demand to PPDS ? How would you want DP demands to be split in PPDS ?

You can explore the BADI /SAPAPO/SDP_RELDATA to build any custom logic. Usually the working days in receiving calendar at the location can let you know the days when the forecasts could be potentially seen in PPDS.

In Location Product master in SNP 2 tab under SNP demand profile section, you can check if Period Split options work for you.

Your Demand storage bucket is the period and SNP/PPDS in Day

As per your plant calender it calculates working days and split it equaly.

If you want some diffrent way use BADI mentioned by srini
