How to create .rar and .sda files.

Hi Guys,

I am trying to develop a new adapter. For that i need to create .rar and .sda files. I have done it with winzip.But the problem is i need to create required .xml files manually. Is there any way that we can create .rar and .sda files through NDS.

I seem to have the same problems you have concerning the development of an XI adapter. I still have problems in using and testing the sample adapter. Did you find a step by step documentation for it?

Hi Carsten,

If u want to test sample adapter, first create adapter metadata in IR.For this u just copy the contents of SampleRa.xml file into Adapter Metadata. You should create adapter metadata in namespace "http://sap.com/xi/XI/sample" and the name of adapter metadata asJCA.

Regarding Adapter Development KIT i also heard but don't have any idea.If u came to know please update this blog.
