diff in ALOG, SLOG and ULOG

hello experts,

can any one tell me the clear difference between ALOG, SLOG and ULOG.

and how do we analyze it , i had seen those files but could not understand it

SLOG file contain an overall view of all imports which are running imports

ALOG file contains individual return codes for all steps
