error@mb1c & movement type 501

while entering stock in mb1c it shows error that period 005/2008 is not open for account type S & GL 893025, for this i have tried through MMPV i have closed 05/2008 it shows error that it cannot be closed but in MMRV shows current period 05/2008, i tried in ob52 also there i changed the year to 2008 for variant.

pls tell how will i solve the problem..

Hiya,

You need to go to Open / Close period for FI and open the period for the Account Type S for the company code.

Most FI consultants should know how to do this.

I think you need to take the help of an FI consultant here. We can try to charge the posting period variant, but better to take the help to avoid after effects.
