What does a Function Module mean and what exactly is the purpose of it?

HI,

Function module :

Works like subroutine .

Here you will have some parameter input and some parameter output and you may pass table also. This can be used in many prog where ever you required .

Inside the function , you can write logic and take the output accordingly.

hi,

Yes , it is purely technical , but as a functional consultant , if u know how does it work , ur problem will easily solved as this can be used in various places , means , if any maintenance or repair work has to be done , u need to correct only one function which will save lot of testing activities in our end .

However , we can suggesst to technical team to go for function module wherever it is required.
