Fixed Asset Settlement problem

We utilize settlement profile "AI" to settle "Assets under construction". The profile allows a maximum of 999 distribution rules. We have reached that maximum and are not able to settle any more assets under contruction.

Question: How do I re-set the distribution rule counter? Do I do it through archiving closed settlements.

Appreciate any help on this subject.

Read it somewhere the restriction of 999 has few technical reasons, like reduces the performance of the settlement or the information system and you can't reset it.

Solution is to think about how to structure your projects if not possible only solution left is you settle to another WBS element or an AuC and distribute to further receivers from there.

Clumsy solution!
