vkoa problem

Hi,

I want to assign a new G/L account in VKOA trazanction. The G/L account is already created.

So, when I create new entry in VKOA with G/L account 7582001 it gives me an error:

Entry 0007582001 does not exist in SKA1 - check your entry.

What should I do? Which tranzaction should I use to solve my problem?

Dear Friend ,

Check with the G/L accounts customizing T-Code..FS00

Now check whether there is posting block or the entries are made correctly.

After which the assignment in SD accounts posting will surely be possible.

Dear Dan,

Please check in FS00 enter the G/L A/C 7582001 and enter the company code. Check whether the G/L A/C exist or not.

If it doesnot exist then create the same G/L A/C and assign it in VKOA.

Which chart of accounts are you using? is it SKA1? which is your company code ??

I'm using the right chart of accounts... SKA1 is a table and it seems that in that table G/L accont 7582001 does not exist.

in FS00 create the g/l account required.

check whether the G/L account you specified existing in your chart os accounts and company code. You can know it through FS00.

Dear friends, I've forgot that I was on DEV system where 7582001 G/L account was not created.

7582001 G/L account was created only on PRD system..
