CTM master data consistency check

Hi Guys,

While carry out the CTM profile master data consistency check i am facing the error

Resource : Unscheduled breaks are not supported by CTM!

Can anyone explain me the ways to over come this?

Hi,

You will have to manage the breaks as downtime in the resource. Do note that as standard, CTM plans finitely, even if you have not set the Finite Planning indicator in the resource master. However, you can make a setting in the CTM profile, specifying that CTM is to plan infinitely or according to the setting in the resource master. CTM uses production resources, handling resources, and transportation resources

1) The resource capacity profile might not be fully generated in the LC for the complete planning horizon. You can use transaction /SAPAPO/REST02 to generate it.

2) The resource might not be updated in the LC with the correct bucket profile (start and end date time for each bucket). If you compare resources there is maybe a bucket offset. In the PPM the condition for the minimum and maximum value for the activity relationship cannot be

satisfied due to the bucket offset. You can check it using transaction /SAPAPO/REST02.
