Reg.Consumption account cann't be determined

Dear All

We can not maintain costing in VA02- >Extras->Costing..Category like M,N,L,F and E etc.

If I use the above one the following error occured

"Consumption account cann't be determined"

I cann't understand what settings I have to change in configuration.

Please advise

hi,

check in OMWD wether you have maintained the val grpng code

Please refer below

1. Menu path: IMG(SPRO), Material Management, Valuation & Account Assignment, Account Determination, Account Determination without Wizard, Group Together Valuation Area, Maintain Valuation grouping code as 0001 to your plant.

2. Maintain the Valuation Class at Material Master, accounting tab.

If you follows this steps, it will automatically determine consumption account.

Sir,

I did the same already but not working keep on showing the same error "Consumption account is not determined"

Please advise,is there any possiblities.

where to create new Valuatio group code.

Dear Raja Kumar

Check in OME9 whether you have maintained "V" for Consumption posting. I feel it is missing and hence the error. Maintain V there and retry.
