Hi,
As per the definition of the data carrier for front end computer we make use of PC,for our naming convinence we sometimes create data carrier but this wont work.
for making use of work station applications in DIR using data type carrier PC is feasible.
if any other data carrier are created then pls delete all those and use PC,if PC is not available then pls create it.

hi,
Based on our experience we are using different data carrier type name instead of PC in DC20. but in DC30 for defining work station applications in network use the same data carrier type name as defined in DC20 while selecting data carrier type.
