Unable to access ES Workplace Systems with WinGUI

Former Member

I have just received my accessinformations for the ES Workplace Systems. I have tried to access HU2 and HU5 using my WinGUI, but receive this error when trying to logon:

partner '155.56.56.170:3299' not reached

WSAEWOULDBLOCK: Resource temporarily unavaliable

Do you wish a detailed error description (yes/no)

The systems are configured as:

HU2

Application server: iwdf1030.dmzwdf.sap.corp

System number: 00

System ID: HU2

SAP router string: /H/155.56.56.170/H/

HU5

Application server: iwdf1107.dmzwdf.sap.corp

System number: 00

System ID: HU5

SAP router string: /H/155.56.56.170/H/

Has anyone had the same problem? I'm thinking it might be a firewall issue - what do i need to have configurered in the firewall to make the connection through WinGUI work?

(I have tried using the WebGUI withouth problems, so it is not a problem with the host)

Did your issues resolved?

I am sure it is due to the local firewall settings and you need to take it up with local network admin.

I can access following system fron winGUI 640

System-ID: HU8

Client: 800

Application type: SAP SCM 5.0

Application Server: iwdf2053.dmzwdf.sap.corp

System No.: 02

but I try to launch the "interactive demand planning" transaction the system does not respond. If I logon on the ERP 2005 system all transactions work fine.

Can you help ?

Were you able to resolve this issue?

I am able to log in outside a Corporate LAN ( such as Home) but unable to log in from within the office LAN.

Thanks for your help in advance.

The issue was with Corporate Firewall and it was fixed by making provision to connect to SAP.

Thanks.
