Hi,

Never try the transports at os level when you are not sure why dont you create a transport route in STMS of your domain controller.

copy the data and cofiles from /usr/sap/trans/data and /usr/sap/trans/cofiles into the transport dir of the target system. Now go to the import queue and choose from the menu "add transport". Don't know the exact path right now, but I'm sure you'll find it.

HI,

copy the data and co-files from sandbox system to DEV system through OS level.

How to do it manually?

go to Sandbox system:

cd /usr/sap/<transdir>/data

then ftp to DEV system

############

go to /usr/sap/<transdir>/data

Put Rxxxx.SID

same way:

cd /usr/sap/<transdir>/cofiles

then ftp to DEV system

############

go to /usr/sap/<transdir>/cofiles

Put Kxxxx.SID

then execute cmd:

tp import <change request> <target SID> client=<client number> u0

pf=TP_<DOMAINNAME>.PFL

Hope it will solve your problem.

If any problem. Reply back.

Mahesh

Hello George,

Best option is to create a transport route. If you don't want to create one then I would say doing OS level transport is extra useless effort. Simply download the role from the source system to your desktop and then uplaod it into the source system. Upload download option is available in the menu. I would not waste my time and effort with OS level transports in such a case.

With Regards.
