If a security deposit has this status, what does this mean?

Does it mean that some parts of the security deposit payment is still open and can be cleared during the next invoicing? If it is, will it set the status to "Returned" if the payment has been fully cleared by receivables?

Where can I find the documentation for security deposit statuses?

This means that it has been partially paid to the customer

do not think so

The status would be fully cleared
