VCRole does not work when copied to company naming standard

Hi Gurus,

I have copied standard SAP VCRole and named it "_ _ -Visual Composer role" and now when i assign this new custom role to users then the users get below error

Visual Composer - Permission denied

Roles specification: You don't have a Visual Composer role.

Contact your administrator to get help

Do you know why i am getting the error ?

Does this mean i cannot have a different name for VC role ?

Any suggestions or advice will be rewarded

Thanks

Sid

Hi,

no need to copy any VC role .

Just assign the Standard Portal Role for VC to the user to with you want to open VIsual composer.

The Error tells that the user with which u opend the VC is not having the VC role.

So just search for VC role (Stanadrd Portal Role) in Useradminstration and assign to the User.

it will solve ur problem

Govindu Thanks for your feedback.

I know it will work with standard "VCRole"

My question is why does it not work when i copy and rename it ?

I did the same for all the other standard roles (copied standard and renamed. Content Admin, System admin etc..)

It works for these roles
