error while maintaining order type to sales area

Hi SAP Gurus ,

I am having problem while maintaining the order type to my sales area (AA/BB/CC)

when I tryed that I am getting an error : Define < AA/BB/CC > first as general sales area

I have created customer with the same sales area

I cheked my sales area, everything looks fine

please suggest me, how to handle this error

Please maintain the entries in combine sales org, combine dist channel & combine divisions. Then you can assign the sales area to the order type.
