ABAP and JAVA stack together?

Hello Friends,

I wanted to install the ABAP stack SP12 with JAVA stack SP09. I am downloading the last file of the stacks. Is it possible to install them together on one OS(I have W2K Enterprise Edition)?

Can you guys please help me out here ?

As per the usage types we can select which netweaver platform we should go for.. You can either install WAS ABAP alone, WAS JAVA alone or a hybrid installation WAS ABAP+JAVA on a single system...

I am not clear what you are looking for... are you looking for two separate WAS JAVA and WAS ABAP installation.. Yes you can install..

If you are looking for a hybrid inistallation with ABAP at Stack 12 and JAVA at Stack 9.. yes you can do it..

The NW04s .. by default it will give STACK 9... and then you can upgrade your ABAP WAS through SPAM... to STACK 12...

Yes, you could have both stacks in the same server, you only have to check the installation guide.

I recommend you begin a fresh installation, and chose both stacks...

But if you have a Server with ABAP stack, and want to add the Java Stack, you will have to follow the java addin steps.
