Sir,

Can we allot one customer to quotation, another to order and can we change the customer in delivery. how ?

Hello,

As Nikhil said, the need for changing the sold-to-party in sales order which has been created with reference to the quotation is invalid, as the quote will be created for a particular customer.

We can change the ship-to-party in the delivery document provided, if you have maitained the ship-to-party number in the sold-to-party record.

Hi,

You need to have the same customer (i.e. Sold-To Party) in both the quotation and the Sales Order because the Quotation is a legally binding document, and is valid specifically for a certain customer.

However you can change the customer (Ship-to party) in the delivery. But for that, you need to define a different customer as the Ship-to Party in the partner function tab of the main customer.
