Hi,
I have installed TDP for SAP to backup, when I try and run brbackup -c force -t online -u / -p initPRE.utl I receive the following error.
BR0160E Unexpected symbol 'PRE___' found for parameter '<unknown>'
Erre reading BR*Tools profile.
I have checked the profile, commente out everything and as soon as I uncomment 1 line I get this error.
Has anyone seen this before, it is drving me crazy!
Thanks
Scott

Hello Scott,
looks like you copy pasted few parameters into your profile file.
copy pasting sometimes introduces wrong characters, especially in UNIX, it matters a lot.
I would suggest that you remove all those lines you added and re-add them manually.
It would also be good to start off with your backed up copy of the profile.

Siddhesh
