Menu Tree Problem

Hi Gurus.

I have problem with the menu tree. Below is the step to reconstruct my problem :

1. go to tcode PFCG,

2. create new role ztesting

3. from menu tab, under "role menu" folder, i create folder material

4. and i add transaction MM03 inside the folder material

5. i go to profile generator and put the organizational value for plant only plant 1000

6. i save and generate the profile

7. go to tcode PFCG,

8. create new role ztesting2

9. from menu tab, i add transaction MM03

10. i go to profile generator and put the organizational value for plant only plant 3000

11. i save and generate the profile

12. i go to su01 and go to user ztesting, add role ztesting and ztesting2

13. i go to pfcg do mass comparison for ztesting and ztesting2

14. i login using user ztesting

15. under user menu, i expect to see

user menu - material - MM03

user menu - MM03

but i can only see

user menu - material - MM03

16. i check to display material plant 1000 and 3000, it is all authorized

meaning both the role was active and correct only the menu tree have problem

is there any solution for this ? it seems the ztesting role overlap ztesting2 role in the menu tree so the MM01 only appear once.

Dear Didik,

May I know why are you creating two separate roles if you have to restrict it for plat 1000 and 3000.Your transaction code is same for both i.e MM03 as well as you have a single user ztesting.

A better idea would be is to create a single role.add transaction code MM03 to it and restrict it for Plant 1000 and 3000.

Do reward points if you find my suggestion helpful.

the procedure above is to help me to simplify to explain my problem situation.

that is not my real problem.

if you can help me to fix the problem above, then it will help me to solve the real problem.

ok another update..

i tried to other machine which have same OS same DB same kernel and basis and Abap SP patch level

it show both of the MM03 so definitely something is wrong here..

I also already open OSS for this problem..

I will keep update here with the solutions from SAP
