The documentation for icm/keep_alive_timeout says that you can change the value of this parameter using the icm/server_port parameter.
Can this be done in SMICM, or only in some "config" file at the OS level?
Thanks in advance.
I'm pretty sure the 60 sec default is what's giving me this message:
500 Connection timed out
Error: -5
Version: 7000
Component: ICM
Date/Time: Tue Apr 29 03:32:38 2008
Module: icxxthr_mt.c
Line: 2698
Server: dhalitsky-l_DEV_01
Error Tag: {-}
Detail: Connection to partner timed out after 60s
(Because I'm trying to run the subscription stack WDA in 750M under VMware on a laptop with only 1G total RAM.)
Never mind - I found the profile file at the OS level, where I can set the parameter to -1.

Hi David,
Can you please let me know what parameter you changed? I read some SAP documentation and changed the ICM server port as explained but the keep_alive parameter is still set to 60. (I did restarted the services)
icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=80$$,TIMEOUT=120,PROCTIMEOUT=600
Thanks
Ivan
