Hi All,
We are having similar difficulties in getting our PIR to publish back to R/3. We are running ECC 6.0 & SCM 5.0. Per suggestions seen in other threads we have checked if we have the required transfer profile via t-code /n/SAPAPO/MC8U and the answer is yes and it is active. We have checked and double checked that we have models for product and location in active CIF models. The answer to this is also yes.
We have run our Univariate forecast and saved out our results, but when trying to publish them back to R/3 we get nothing. We have also our publications via t-code /sapapo/cp1 for the PIR and it too exists.
We have monitored the transfer via our batch job in the SCM monitor /sapapo/cq and we have to manually push the results to R/3. However, when we check to see if the stock is there nothing seems to have been transferred even though we had received no error in the CQ. We are running t-codes /AFS/MD04, J3A2 to check for results in R/3.
At the suggestion of another consultant we also tried pushing the PIR manually utilizing /n/sapapo/dmp2
When doing so we find we have no PIR's at all even though we can see the results when we save them in DP. No results seem to transfer to R/3 via a batch job or manually.
Has anyone else run across this problem? If so could you please share your resolve?
Many thanks in advance.

Hi Geoff,
Did you create a demand planning activity (Transaction /SAPAPO/MC8T), if not, please create an activity where you need to define all the header settings and the list of action - which is to create/populate the 'R/3 Transfer Profile' tab. Post which you would need to link this activity to a 'Demand Planning job in the background' (Transaction /SAPAPO/MC8D). This should send across the data from APO to R/3 assuming the publication rules and integration models are active.
The transfer job uses report /SAPAPO/TS_BATCH_RUN with a planning activity using an appropriate
transfer profile. You can make these Activity and Profile Settings in SCM customizing and define the
background jobs needed in the transactions /SAPAPO/MC8x. For details, see Run Demand Planning
in the Background and SAP Note 546079.
Revert in case you need further clarification.
Regards
Vinod
