What part of the company is responsible for the type of shipping, the necessary shipping materials and the means of transport? Only one answer is correct.

1.Sales Organization

2.Transportation planning point

3.Shipping condition

4.Shipping point

5.Warehouse

Hi,

As part of shipping like creating deliveries "Shipping point" is responsible-

where as "transportation planning point" is responsible in Transport the goods to the ship to-

here shipping & Transportation is entirely different.

Shipping is nothing but pickign packing & loading -

transportation includes many shipping activities-it planning how to reach goods to the ship to party's location physically.

just browse help.sap.com to find the difference bet shipping & transportation.

There is seperate chapters given in siemens certification material.

Shipping Point is the answer for your Question.

Based on Shipping Point you can define the means of transport, Shipping Types etc.

answer from saad is differen..pls clarify, my opinion also shipping point, i had posted it just 4 avoiding my confusion.as he said query was confusing..

Your question isnt very clear but from what I understand it is transportation planning.
