APO detailed Scheduling Board

Hello Experts

Can any one explain to me if the APO/DS Board has any effect on suppliers of components or is it only a capacity resource planning tool.

Is any one out there using this ?

Hi

Yes it has

1) Planned order gets re scheduled and accordingly the PO, since the components are pegged to corresponding header matl

SO everytime U use DS board for rescheduling or oprimization the Planned orders also gets shifted. This can be done manually also

Hi,

We do use the PP/DS planning board to a small extent to reschedule the manually firmed planned orders and in some instsances the CTM generated planned orders. If it is a third party supplied product configured in APO, one can schedule the orders in the DS scheduling board.
