can u explain me in what type of business

case we go for idoc to file scenario in real time.

when your source is SAP system and target system is FTP then you go for this.

Suppose we got PO, then we give acknowledgement or we send the invoice, but that people are not using the SAP they are using the File or EDI then we should send the response or invoice in the file format.

Here scenario becomes Idoc --> Xi --> File.

Whenever you have to generate a file which contains data from SAP then you have to use IDoc xi file scenario.

For example

Consider a SAP System say HR system

Consider a System for Leave Management system (LMS)

The LMS can consume only file in certain format. When ever an data has to be loaded to HR System then a corresponding file has to be generated which can be consumed by LSM

In such situations we go for Idoc xi file
