I am having a serious problem with Java Startup. I have recently added Java Stack to Netweaver 2004s ABAP Stack. The installation went on well till end, but unable to start the Java at the end. JCmon shows as stopped and they say

"#1.5#001143312344001E00000013000013D400044BF0AB93C572#1209396949674#com.sap.engine.core.Framework##com.sap.engine.core.Framework#######SAPEngine_System_Thread[impl:5]_25##0#0#Fatal#1#/System/Server#Plain###Critical shutdown was invoked. Reason is: Core service security failed. J2EE Engine cannot be started.#"

Also I am unable to login to Visual Admin tool, but able to login in Config tool.

Below find the trace file.

I also checked and see that all the users SAPJSJ, J2EE_ADMIN users are not locked.

When I check the userstore in Configtool, i found no data in there. Please suggest what needs to be done.

Mahesh

SAP have come back to say that it will not work under dual stack and needs to be java stack only which we re-installing...

We applied latest Java patches thru SDM and it worked fine atfer that.

Hello Nag, I just tested that note, but sadly it made no difference.

David,

I had reviewed std_server0 file one more time and noticed following error in it.

"Caused by: com.sap.engine.services.security.exceptions.BaseSecurityException: No active userstore is set"

Please see if the following notes helps you.

Note 1042418 - "No active userstore is set." after upgrade to SPS11/12

Was this ever resolved?

We have exactly the same problem where the J2EE processes will not start.

Please check the solution given in OSS Note below:

Hi Prasanna

I have imported the profiles and comapared against at the OS level. They have no inconsistencies.

Regarding the second point, I think I have selected for ABAP store. Do I need to anything else to get rid of this problem.

HI,

This is defenetly not a VIRTUAL MEMORY issue, there is some problem in your security provider and UME settings. When the java system starts it starts lot of manager anfd services , and one among these services is the UME service provider , which tells the J2EE engine what is the User store .

Now , you have to debug on the following lines.

1) Import profiles from rz10, activate the profiles. The profiles will get copied at OS LEVEL. after you do

that check the profile parameters which are present in the rz10 are same as the parameters in OS level.

2) What did you select the user sotre while installing the system, you have 2-3 options of selecting the

user store , which can be the j2ee database, abap user store, or LDAP.You should have SELECTED

ABAP user store.

just try to import the java profiles in abap system using rz10

import->of active server

then try restarting both the engine this should solve your problem

else try addin-installing again, your UME source is not gettting recognised

Hi Vamshi

I have checked the Java Environment variables and they are fine. Jave_home is pointing to the right directory. Please do let me know if anything else need to be checked in the ENvironment variables.

I think this problem is realted to virtual memory. Try increasing the value. As mentioned check out note 943602 and also note 723909.

Hi,

Error occurred while preloading classes of security providers from jre/lib/ext folder: java.util.zip.ZipException: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect

check your java environment variable. As far as i know this is not a irtual memory issue.

Regards,

Vamshi.
