Alert Inbox

Hi,

I´m trying to configure alerts in XI 3.0.

I've defined a new alert category called ALERT_TEST and have followed all the steps described in Michal's blog (/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/09/09/xi-alerts--step-by-step) but when i try to simulate an error i can´t see any occurences in my alert inbox.

However when i run report SXMSALERT_LOGREADER it seems that alert has been correctly sent:

Do you have any idea about what might be causing this?

Hi Pedro !

Are you sure you specified a valid email address in the user profile of the user related to the alert, at the fixed alert recipient lists?

Is your XI system able to process and send emails ?

Try the FM "SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1" in tx SE37 to test if mails are coming out.

Thanks Matias.

My problem is almost solved. I'm now able to see the alerts in my inbox but when i try to click the links in Follow-On Activities i get the following error:

BSP Exception: Das Objekt _messageid=D250FE3015FF11DDADAD1A6D984FC3B7 in der URL /sap(bD1lbiZjPTEwMCZkPW1pbg==)/bc/bsp/sap/alertinbox/&messageid=D250FE3015FF11DDADAD1A6D984FC3B7 ist nicht gültig.

Anyone has any idea about this?

Please verify that you have this service enabled in the SICF transaction:

/sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertinbox

/sap/bc/bsp/sap/sxms_alertrules

/sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertsubscription

/sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertpersonalize

/sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertpersonalize_rules

These services are activated:

/sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertinbox

/sap/bc/bsp/sap/sxms_alertrules

I can´t find the remaining three services mentioned:

/sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertsubscription

/sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertpersonalize

/sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertpersonalize_rules

Hi !

Try to deactivate and reactivate the /sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertinbox service and also use the right mouse button over the service and use the "Test Service" option.

Hi,

I've tried to deactivate and activate sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertinbox service and then i've clicked in Test Service button but i'm getting the same error described in a previous post.

Does anyone has any clue about this?

Have you seen OSS Note 1080668? "Problems with alert subscription and ALERTPERSONALIZE_RULES".
