Regarding movement types

while golive, when tranfering data to production what is the movement types are used to post the stock inward and outward movements.

Hi,

During the go live, the following stocks are considered to upload as opening stocks in SAP system-

Opening Balance of Raw Material through 561 Movement type with MB1C Transaction

Opening Balance of Finish Goods thourhg 561 Movement type with MB1C Transaction

Opening Balance of Capital Goods through 561 Movement type with MB1C Transaction

Opening Balance of Consumables through 561 Movement type with MB1C Transaction

Interemediate products (WIP) are upload either quantity or Value depends on requirement.

Hi,

If you are talking about Data Migration, and it is stock, then the movement type is 561 - to bring stock into the plant.

I dont understand the need to outward movement during data migration: After all, you are bringing stock INTO the plant, so why is an outward movement necessary? In case you are looking for something to reverse the above movement, then 562 should work.
